At Arstar Stables, we focus on having a pleasant and fun atmosphere for learning to ride. Riders are encouraged to take lessons to improve their skills and understanding of the sport, however each rider/horse combination can customize their training program to fit their schedule and particular requirements.

We have a low pressure environment when it comes to competing, so riders
and parents alike can choose the level of showing that suits the rider, horse,
and budget. This enables all of our riders and horses to enjoy the sport and
their participation at horse shows, without feeling obligated to attend any
particular event. Every student is valued despite their skill level, so horse
shows are fun for the entire barn, with a focus on the "team" as a whole.

If not for the help of many friends and coaches along the way, I would not have been
able to participate in competitive riding, so I feel it is my responsibility to reinvest this
generousity into the sport. I feel it is my duty as a trainer to encourage and enable all
keen students, whenever possible, to reach their goals.

Arstar Stables also offers a working student program, so riders can earn credit towards their monthly expenses. This helps to make ends meet financially, while the students interact and learn
more about horse health and care from a management perspective.
