| NEWS FROM HCBC Horse Council BC has introduced a new travel funding program for junior riders competing at PaRC level (or above) events. The BC Lottery Corporation Sportsfunder Youth Travel Assistance Program has been created to provide funding to eligible HCBC members under the age of 18 who will be traveling 200kms or more (round trip) to competitions in 2007. | After a much anticipated wait, our grower's in Keremeos and Salmon Arm have now cut and baled their first cut of 2007, and the trucks are now rolling! Both growers assure us that 2007 is shaping up to be a great hay year, and so far prices have remained the same from 2006 for beautiful premium Orchard/Alfalfa mix hay. Duties include feeding, handling horses, stalls, grooming and exercising sales horses, jump setting, and general property upkeep. | After much consideration, we have decided to offer Alibi for lease after the Island Championship Show in September and at the completion of the 2007 Show Season. He will be available on a year to year paid lease basis, at our farm or off property for the right candidate in an approved program. This is an excellent opportunity for riders wishing to move up to the 4'+ jumpers and compete at a provincial and national level on an extremely reliable and competitive horse with a proven track record.
